A pulsing prayer which takes flight on looped and bowed guitar with melodic vocal soaring, this song cycle takes you across many landscapes and into the heavens.

Glenn Smith dreams in melody, crafting songs (both improvised and composed) that take the listener both deeper inside and across new audio landscapes. Whether playing guitar, piano, percussion, or singing, Glenn strives for a sound that is both new and familiar, a sound that connects heart and soul. While the instruments are all acoustic, Glenn often uses looping to create a web of sound. Glenn has been playing music since 1981, starting as a drummer and since picking up anything that makes sound. Recently focusing more on the voice, he has recorded several acapella looping CD's, as well as leading community (and school) singing circles. While he enjoys doing solo work, his greatest joy is getting everyone singing together, whether in an improvised "Vocal Voyagers" circle (www.myspace.com/vocalvoyagers), or crafting songs that invite participation. Glenn aims to make music a more communal activity, and hopes to lead the way with his own creations.
